DissEntertainment Productions' Political Manifesto

DissEntertainment believes in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as set forth and upheld by the United Nations. DissEntertainment believes that everyone possesses the right to life, the right to human dignity, as well as the rights of freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of assembly. DissEntertainment believes that state and corporate institutions do not possess the same rights as people, especially in courts of law. Furthermore, it is a violation of international law when a state or corporation infringes on a person's human rights, under any circumstances. DissEntertainment has strong convictions against the use of offensive violence, whether by state, corporate institution or individual. DissEntertainment believes corporate global imperialism lies at the heart of most human rights violations, often resulting in subsequent reactionary human rights violations as well. DissEntertainment believes in the right to private property and wealth, but only within the limits of international law and never at the expense of any human rights. DissEntertainment believes the dominant financial powers and their respective state supporters must make changes to their respective institutions' structure, in order to make their wealth less volatile. In particular, the idea that corporations must increase their profits "at any cost" must be replaced with a concept of "sustainable business", "respect for international human rights", "respect for the global environment", and "reasonable profit growth".
